Dr William McGeachie
I am a born and bred Novocastrian from Newcastle North of Sydney.
I graduated from Newcastle Uni in 2018 with a bachelor or Oral Health Therapy. During that time I studied in both rural and metropolitan areas throughout NSW. I am currently an executive member of the NSW branch of the Australian Dental & Oral Therapists association.
Throughout my degree and in the working world, I have always ensured a safe and friendly environment where holistic care can be given to patients of all ages and cultures. However, providing dental care for children is where I find my greatest passion in Dentistry. The excitement and fun of exploring new things in the big chair always brings a smile for the kids and I.
When the gloves and mask come off surfing, skateboarding and fishing take up most of my time, whilst exploring the many wonders of the beautiful Coffs Coast.
Our hygienist, Kellie, is originally from the Tweed Coast and attended Newcastle University to earn her Bachelor of Oral Health degree.
Kellie has 13 years of experience in dentistry. During this time, she has gained vast experience and developed a strong passion for oral health.
Kellie joined the Arthur Street Dental team in January 2011 when she relocated to Coffs Harbour from Sydney.
As an oral health professional, Kellie instills in her patient a sense of purpose and works together with them to achieve and maintaining their optimum level of oral health. Kellie will tailor preventative treatment accordingly, thereby making use of her eye for detail and her gentle touch. She also is great with kids and those patients who find it difficult to overcome their dental fears.
'I enjoy being part of the Coffs community and building relationships with patients. This is one of the most rewarding attributes of my job.'
When Kellie is away from the clinic, you will often find her kayaking with her husband off the beautiful Coffs coast or walking her dog on the beach.
'A healthy mouth is like a well-built house: it all starts with good foundations.'
Lisa hails from Berowra, NSW and achieved her Certificate III in dental assisting before joining our team seven years ago.
'I love working with a great team and knowing we are offering the best possible service to our lovely patients.'
Outside of the clinic, you will find Lisa catching up with friends, spending time with family, and watching her children play sport. She is currently learning Auslan (Australian Sign Language), which she loves.
