How do clear aligners straighten teeth?

Clear aligner treatment begins with a thorough exam by Dr Justin Ward in our Coffs Harbour dental clinic. We use advanced dental technology during your exam, like x-rays, 3-D cone beam imaging, and moulds of your teeth, to create a customised treatment plan for you.

The customised treatment plan Dr Ward develops for you will take into account your dental situation. He will let you know how long it will take to straighten your teeth and the cost for treatment before you embark on your clear aligner journey.

Clear aligners work similarly to braces, slowly moving your teeth into a straighter position. We will create sets of custom aligners specifically for you, and each set of aligners will move your teeth closer to the desired position. Most patients will change their aligners out for a new set every two weeks or so. Dr Ward will provide you with a personalised aligner schedule for your clear aligners.

To enjoy accurate, fast results, it’s essential that you follow all our instructions and the schedules we provide. We are always here to help you if you have any questions.

Clear Braces Treatment in Coffs Harbour

If you’re interested in straightening your teeth in Coffs Harbour, we invite you to call Arthur Street Dental for more information on clear braces. Clear braces offer patients a convenient and discreet method for creating a straighter smile and better-aligned bite.

With straighter teeth, many patients can improve both their smile aesthetics and oral health.
