Medicare (Child Dental Benefit Scheme)

Medicare (Child Dental Benefit Scheme)

The Australian Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) aims to facilitate optimal oral health outcomes for children. Under this program, children aged between 0 and 17 years who meet Medicare eligibility criteria are entitled to receive essential dental services without charge. The CDBS provides a benefit entitlement of $1,132 over two consecutive years, and eligibility continues until the child's 18th birthday. (Means tested by the government.)
